TRAKT (SK) – Bomber
On the facade of Prior, a giant arcade game comes to life, where players compete in a fast-paced maze full of obstacles. This interactive installation combines the nostalgia of retro video games with modern technology. Players control characters using 3D-printed controllers and can choose to cooperate or compete. Dynamic visuals and sound feedback enhance the experience, but they must be careful not to eliminate themselves. However, the game carries a deeper message—explosions symbolize wars and the rivalry of world powers, reflecting the current geopolitical landscape. Just like in reality, countries must choose between cooperation and conflict—while not eliminate themselves.
The installation is presented by the dynamic civic association TRAKT. Since 2009, it has been innovating in the field of culture and new media art. Founded by visual artists Lukáš Matejka and Štefan Oliš in Trenčín, TRAKT operates in galleries, public spaces, and online. The association brings together creatives, supports interactive art, and fosters technological experiments on both local and international levels. It is behind festivals, exhibitions, and projects worldwide—from South Africa and Mexico to Finland and Saudi Arabia.
