Without volunteers, it wouldn’t shine!

The first edition of the Light Art Festival brought light, art, and thousands of visitors to Trenčín – but above all, it showed the power of collaboration and human kindness. Behind the festival were not only light installations and artists, but also dozens of volunteers, without whom the event simply could not have happened.

Thank you for the time, energy, and commitment you gave both during the preparations and throughout the festival itself. Despite the large crowds that came to Trenčín, you welcomed everyone with a smile, calmness, and willingness to help. You guided visitors, helped them navigate between installations, answered questions, explained, encouraged, and often improvised when needed.

You handled unexpected situations with confidence and ease – whether it was engaging curious children or assisting adults who needed help, directions, or just a moment of reassurance. Your presence contributed greatly to the smooth flow of the festival and to creating a welcoming, safe, and pleasant atmosphere for everyone.

You were the first point of contact, the last smile of the evening, and the quiet support in the background. Thanks to you, we successfully managed the first edition of the Light Art Festival and received overwhelmingly positive feedback that motivates us to continue.

You deserve a huge thank you – for your willingness, responsibility, empathy, and positive energy. We truly hope to meet many of you again at the next edition, which will be even bigger, bolder, and brighter. We believe that together we can create the largest Light Art Festival Trenčín has ever experienced.
