Resonator connects technology with a philosophical perspective on the human condition. It is based on the model of a resonator—a fundamental component of a laser device—but goes beyond its technical function, presenting it as a metaphor for human existence.

Like this device, humans continuously receive stimuli from their surroundings throughout life. Through internal responses and feedback, we transform these inputs and emit our own “memetic light”—for example, through speech or behavior. The work thus reflects on how we respond to the world and what kind of “trace” we leave within it.

The installation was created in collaboration with Signal Creative.
